The Path of Truth

Exploring the ancient wisdom of Zoroastrianism through educational resources accessible to seekers worldwide.

Introduction

What is Zoroastrianism?

Zoroastrianism is one of the world's oldest continuously practiced religions, founded by the prophet Zarathushtra in ancient Persia over 3,500 years ago.

At its heart lies a profound philosophical framework centered on the cosmic struggle between Asha (truth, righteousness) and Druj (falsehood, chaos).

Every individual is called to actively participate in this struggle through conscious choice—choosing good thoughts, good words, and good deeds.

The Words of Zarathushtra

The Gathas are the most sacred texts of Zoroastrianism—17 hymns composed by Zarathushtra himself in Old Avestan.

Unlike the later Avesta, the Gathas represent the direct words of the prophet, making them uniquely important for understanding authentic Zoroastrian philosophy.
